We can help send dog tags to troops in Iraq, Kuwait, and Afghanistan so they can send them to their kids. This is something easy to ship and something the kids can hang on to until Dad or Mom gets back home. Your donation will help send a tag in the appropriate service color to an appreciative service member. There is NO charge to the service member or his family for these tags. As of April 15th Dog Tags For Kids have sent over 235,000 tags to the troops in Iraq to send home to their children.

Here is a link to that Ellen LaMotte told me about . I think its a pretty good organization. She has sent a number of boxes to Iraq. The Post Office has 2 size boxes and they can be mailed for $8.95 no matter how much they weigh. Reading the comments posted by the soldiers is interesting and heartbreaking.
