Volunteers for Veterans Foundation Raises $76,000

for our Veterans & active Military

Foundation chairman Larry Volk, car show chairman Lloyd “Butch” Schultz and foundation secretary Nancy Cirino were on hand to deliver funds to hospital staff,  Acting Director Dr Dwight Evan, Voluntary Service Pat Moreno, Associate Director Anne Gillespie, Chief of Voluntary Service Diana Gellentien and Assistant Director Prachi Asher. The Annual Veterans Car Show is held on the grounds of Loma Linda VA Hospital, the car show is the largest fund raiser produced by the Volunteers for Veterans Foundation.  We provide assistance to those who are in transition to civilian life and awaiting VA benefits, we help with rent, utilities, food and gas.  Volunteers for Veterans Foundation provides support to the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System, thought the Voluntary Service Dept.  All funds donated are used to help our Veterans and active Military in some way.

The Volunteers for Veterans Foundation is ran by volunteers.  Some of the supporters of the show are, San Manual Band of Mission Indians, K & N Air Filter, Flowmaster’s, Baker’s Drive-Thru and Clarks Nutrition Center. We are honored and humbled for the opportunity to give back to the men and women who have fought so bravely and selflessly to protect our country and our freedom.
