Great video of the 2013 car show

Barrett Jackson Auction

What a whirlwind of days in Vegas were. We experienced almost every emotion in 48 hours. After believing the car was going at 2, the car finally rolled onto the block just after 7 PM. Most of the audience had left by then. We had hoped to get $100,000, would have been real happy with $45.000 but when the gavel was dropped 3 minutes later the car sold for 30 thousand.  It's less than we needed or wished for, but that's always the chance in a no reserve auction.

The car was perfect; the charity is a great one. We had promoted the car with all of our heart and soul doing very thing we could think of. We realized there was nothing that our Foundation members and our contributing partners could have done differently to change the outcome of the auction. It all has to do with the day and time of order of appearance for auction.

What "is" important is that the car sold for $30,000.00. That's 30k we can use to help Vets and their families. That's what we have to focus on and leave the "what if's" to another day. We did great and we want to thank everyone involved in making this happen. That's not just the contributors and the folks giving their time, but also all of you that took the time at the show to let us know how much you liked the car and also letting us know how much you appreciate what we do for our Veterans and Active Military.  We would also like to thank everyone for all the well wishes and the support you offered in those last minutes it encouraged all of us.  We all want to thank the successful bidder Sasha Rahmati with Stadium Auto from Arlington Texas. Thank you for your willingness to part with 30k to help support our Veterans and Active Military

Please make a donation to our

Veterans & Active

There are so many ways to make a change in this world that it’s difficult to know where to begin. Even if you have a cause you’re passionate about, like eradicating hunger, it’s easy to be overwhelmed by potential ways you can help. Do you give money or food to the homeless man you walk by on the way to work every day? Do you go and volunteer at your local food bank? Do you start your own organization to help your community? Do you donate money to a national organization? And if you do decide to donate money, how can you ensure that your contribution is being used as fully as possible to help the people you intend it to go to? The last question, at least, is easily answered.

If anyone wants to be a sponsor, donate to the raffle, place an advertisement in the program or help with the show in any way please let us know.

The final figures are not in yet, think we should able to make a donation of around $75,000. We want to thank everyone that registered for the show, bought tickets, and supported the vendors at the show as that all helps with the final figure. We should be able to do a lot for our Vets in 2014.

Again, we want to thank all of you for making this show a great success. We hope you and your loved ones have a safe and happy holiday season. Please remember our Vets and pray they all come home safe and soon.
